Quickmax Eyelash Growth Enhancer Review: Trying To Grow Out My Brows & Lashes

Hello again! I hope you all had an amazing New Year! Today's post is all about growing out those lovely lashes and beautiful brows. Have you dreamed of having fluttery eyes, the kind that bambi would be envious of? To be honest I haven't. That's because I had no idea that there were eyelash growth serums available. I thought that you just had to take what you were given and throw a good lashing of mascara on to manage the situation. Now that part has been brought into the equation, yes gimmie long fluttery eyelashes asap. Let's add full brows into the mix and you've totally got me. Alot of us have been battling to grow out that 90's brow and I'm there with you. I'm doing well except that I have one patch that just wont seem to grow. I hadn't plucked him for months and yet there were still no signs of life minus a few minuscule hairs. When I was contacted by StyleLux and asked if I wanted to try Quickmax* I couldn't let this beauty secret go untried.

Quickmax - The Claims

-Rejuvenates growth cycle

-Builds tissue to anchor lashes meaning more time to grow

-Conditions eyelids

-Repairs dry,brittle and damaged eyelashes

-All natural ingredients

Instructions:

-Apply Quickmax like eyeliner at bedtime

-Can also be used as a brow growth serum

Eyelash Growth Results:
Ok so lets start with my lashes. My eyelashes aren't particularly sparse but I'm not going to turn my nose up to longer lashes. I applied the Quickmax serum like eyeliner before bed and that was it. I used this for a around a week (recommended usage 1-4 weeks to see results). I didn't really think anything of it until I looked in the mirror one day and my eyelashes were more noticable. I don't really check out my eyelashes in the morning but they stood out for once. It was all going fine and well until one night my eyes started to sting and water after applying it. My eyes can be sensitive to skincare products so it wasn't the first time this has happened. I'm guessing some of the liquid leaked into my eye whilst I was trying to sleep. I'm not going into the details of how dramatic I was about it but the end result was me washing my eye out. This put me off using it on my lashes again. I was already happy with the slight growth that I had so I thought it was sensible to stop using it. I did however continue using it on my eyebrows.

Eyebrow Growth Results:
I started using this as an eyebrow growth serum at the same time as my eyelashes but continued the usage after a week. As I said before, there is a patch that wont seem to grow that should join the head to the rest of the eyebrow. I really needed a boost to stimulate eyebrow growth in that area. I wasn't expecting miracles but I can now see baby eyebrow hairs poking through. There's still a few parts missing but I'm guessing they should pop up some time soon. Hopefully I can get the rest of my eyebrow back, I miss the guy.

Overall, I'm actually really pleased with Quickmax whilst I was using it as an eyebrow growth treatment. To be honest that's what I wanted to grow out the most. As for the lashes, I can imagine I would have seen greater growth if I had continued using Quickmax but I didn't fancy nursing a watery eye the next day. I had a browse online and no one else has mentioned this problem so I'm guessing it's just me and my sensitive old shrimp eyes. If I did go back to trying this on my lashes, I'd make sure that I was more careful with the application process. This growth enhancer serum is currently on offer for £24.95 so if you want to check it out I'll leave a link here.

What's your thoughts? Have you tried anything similar?

  41. Hi i was reading other reviews about this and in one of them it said you are only meant to keep it on for 2 minutes then wash off....could that maybe help. Fabulous writeup about a product that i was very sceptical about :)

  43. You are only supposed to apply for 2 mins and then wash off I'm pretty sure, try reading the instructions again... This might have been where you went wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hi Sophie, just letting you know Hun that you were actually using the serum wrong. You put it on like eyeliner on your eye (like you were) wait a while (2 minutes minimum) and wash it off. You don't leave it on overnight because then it gets in your eye xx

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi there! The instructions didn't say to leave it on for two minutes. I'm assuming they've added that part in as this was from over a year ago. I wish it had said leave for 2 mins as I wouldn't have ended up with my eye on fire haha

  46. What happened when u stopped using it?

  47. I use this product too. It's not just you I have the same problem if I get over excited and use to much. My eyes sting like crazy too and I don't have sensitive eyes or skin. I don't know if I've seen any real results yet. I previously used Latisse and that stuff is seriously MAGIC. I'm just don't have access to that product anymore. I'm going to continue using Quickmax and see what happens. Just make sure you don't apply to much so it doesn't get in your eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The company that makes quick max eyelash growth serum is a scam. They prevent people from seeing the price of their product without entering an email and mailing address, and then send out their product to that address even if the order was not complete and no purchase was made. Also, people have claimed product they did order has arrived dried out, or that they have received empty boxes. I wouldn't put this product anywhere near my eyes knowing their practices are based on trying to scam people into paying for unsolicited product. I am also not impressed with bloggers claiming they tried this product and it worked- I feel anyone who would provide a positive review on a product without doing their research on whether the company is following proper business practices is exacerbating the problem. Anyone who does a quick google search on the company LuxStyle international will see many people are being harassed for payments on product they did not order. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

    1. Hey! I don't know why everyone is complaining about the brand all of a sudden but I don't have any links to the company. I even said I had to stop using the product if you read my post as it burnt my eye. They weren't scamming when I worked with them so somethings have obviously changed over the past year.
