The Pedispin: The Answer To Flauntable Feet

Pedispin Review
Pedispin

Hello Lovelies! A word of warning for this post, I will mention the word feet about a gazillion times so if you aren't a fan then I invite you to skip to my next page. As a side note, I won't be sharing any pictures of my tootsies so hopefully you wont have to worry too much!

I would have thought that living in fluffy socks for the past four months would have protected my feet like they were living in little cotton clouds. I guess I was wrong. I'm all for doing my nails, throwing on some hand cream, whatever, but I always neglect my feet. I wouldn't say they're horrific but they definitely need some TLC and a touch of exfoliation...

I actually bought the pedispin (similar to the pedegg) a while back. It was one of those random JML buys where you wonder when you got so grown up. I went through a phase where I was using it everyday and then the novelty wore off along with my dead skin eek. Today I was rummaging through my boyfriends wardrobe and found this tucked in one of the shelves which speaks volumes as my boyfriend had fallen in love with it too.

The Pedispin comes with two attachments and a lid. The first is the metal exfoliating cap which is perfect for removing rough patches of skin. The second is a finishing pad which smooths your skin leaving your feet feeling nice and polished. All you need are some batteries and you're good to go.

There are two speed settings - low and high. I tend to stick with the low so I have more control but for extra hard skin the high setting does a great job. I've learned the hard way not to press too hard (especially on high speed) but apart from that one time when it slid across my foot, it's pretty much pain free. The Pedispin also collects all the dead skin meaning there is no mess afterwards which is always a bonus. If you fancy a quick and easy way to get smooth skin or even if you just like pampering yourself then I'd recommend it especially as it's only £8.99 on Amazon.

After smothering my feet in moisturiser, I'm now ready to throw on a pair of slippers sandals and flaunt them. I'm not going to lie, I have been admiring them all day. All that's left is to paint my toe nails and I'll feel super summery. Yes I know it's only Spring but that's what happens when you get a bit of sun in the North. We pretend it's summer ... even when it's freezing. Just out of curiosity, can you think of any other terms for the word foot/feet? I totally struggled writing this post as I didn't want to keep mentioning the same word over and over again. I don't even think a Thesaurus can save me.

Anyways, I hope this post hasn't grossed you out too much. Do you look after your feet?

  3. My mum has something similar, it's actually really good but I'm constant wincing about hurting myself somehow, even though it's hardly high speed haha. I did a pedi over the weekend, my feet were a state, need some sandals now to show off my new tootsies!

  17. Mine are moving into sock season now and I thought they'd start to improve after the summer months dried them out but no, little improvement. That said I'm not exactly being kind to them either lol. I've tried those kinds of gizmos in the past but I've never found one I loved. They're really uncomfortable and annoying to use I find. I am intrigued with this product though, plus it cleans up mess. I just hope it isn't prone to "accidentally" opening up!
