Collective £10 Haul & That 90's Kylie Jenner Lip Dupe

£10 beauty haul and kylie jenner lip dupe
Natural Collection Lip Stick fig leaf. Kylie Jenner lip dupe
natural collection almond lip pencil
natural collection eye shadow barley
argon oil hair mask
garnier moisture matte moisturiser

Hello lovelies, I've been trying not to spend too much money lately as I've been holding out for MAC Velvet Teddy... haven't we all? As I haven't been able to get my hands on it, I turned to trusty Boots for a drugstore dupe. Whilst I was there, I of course caved in and picked up a few extra items. Surprisingly, I managed to spend under £10 collectively which is cheaper than the lipstick itself. Here's my first impressions of what I got.

1. Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick Fig Leaf (£1.99)
I was looking for a lipstick to recreate Kylie Jenner's infamous 90's nude lip. Not going to lie, I don't really follow the lives of the Kardashian/Jenner bunch but how could I escape the impact of those lips? Now, the Boot's that I popped into was pretty small so there wasn't too much to choose from. Failing to find anything in the Rimmel section I drifted over to the Natural Collection area. I found the shade fig leaf and seeing as it was only £1.99 it wouldn't matter if I didn't like it. I've worn this a few times now and to be honest, the shade is a little browner than it came out when I swatched it but it is still a very 90's brown. It's a great alternative if you don't fancy spending a fortune on a lipstick. My only issue is the lid keeps falling off so I'll be keeping it in a separate pocket in my bag.

2.Natural Collection Lip Liner Almond (£1.99)
I obviously needed a lipliner if I wanted to recreated Kylie Jenner's plumped up and overlined lips. I tried overlining over my lips to begin with but I looked like I had ate spaghetti bolognase for tea and forgot to wipe my mouth. Fear not, I tried lining my lips like normal and it actually really complemented the lipstick I had bought. I feel that it did make my lips look more defined but not as much as Kylie's... although I'm starting to think that it isn't possible without the need of a few injections. I also think this would go really well with the Maybelline colour drama lip pencil in the shade nude. I have to say this is my favourite buy as the shade is transferable to a lot of my nude lipsticks. I love love love it!

3.Natural Collection Eyeshadow Barley (£1.99)
I was just going to leave it at the lips, but the woman at the till said it was three for two so I ran back to pick anything up. The first thing I saw was this eyeshadow in the shade Barley. I didn't have time to think about it as the queue was building up but seeing as it was basically free I didn't do too bad. The shadow is a very natural looking golden/champagne shade. It isn't as pigmented as some eyeshadows but it has a beautiful light shimmer to it (great for those I woke up like this kind of days). I think it will look lovely if I'm going for a nude 60's style eye. Again my only issue so far is the packaging as the lid comes off a bit too easy. I can't really complain for the price of the products though.

4.Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask (£1.00)
I also popped into home bargains to find these chocolate waffle things that me and Tom have become obsessed with. Whilst rushing round the aisles trying to forfill my chocolate needs, I spotted this hair mask. I'm not too sure how well this will work but as it was only £1.00 I thought I'd grab one. You get a lot of product for the price and there are a lot of positive reviews online so I can't wait to see how it handles my unruly hair.

5. Garnier Matte Moisture + Oil Free Moisturiser (£3.99)
In need of a replacement moisturiser due to a huge breakout, I chose this Garnier one as it was one of the few to be oil free. It claims to give up to 33% more moisture whilst maintaining a matte finish. I've used this for the past few days and my face feels so smooth and hydrated. I'd even go as far as to say velvety. I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch as I need to give my skin a bit of time to see how it really responds but so far so good. I can imagine this being great under makeup as it seems to handle my dryer areas but remains light and non greasy.

I've only tried a few Natural Collection products before but I can't fault the price, I definitely need to pay more attention to the rest of their makeup. I'm really pleased, especially with their drugstore dupes for the Kylie Jenner 90's lip as the combination only cost me £4.00! *Does a celebratory dance*. This was only my first impressions of the products I bought, after I've trialled the products further I may review them individually. Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear your thoughts?
