The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream

Hello lovelies! As the winter months are approaching my hands are becoming increasingly dry. I never used to have this problem but since I've had my little boy I've been having to wash my hands more frequently and the cold months are taking their toll. I never used to wear hand creams but I now realise their importance in my daily routine so here's a few of my favourites for this winter!

The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector: This is my all time favourite hand cream. My little boy suffers with eczema and I managed to keep it at bay using The Body Shop's Hemp body butter. The hand cream is just as moisturising as the body butter and targets very dry skin. When I wash my hands, they become dry straight away which is a nightmare. I like to use this afterwards as it completely rehydrates my skin. The cream seems quite thick but once rubbed in, my hands feel like silk. You get 100ml in the tube and it lasts for an extremely long time. This is my dry skin saviour and I like to have a few of these lying about. If you need a super skin saver I'd 100% recommend this. It is £11 for the 100ml tube and £5 for the 30ml so you can grab the smaller one if you want to try it out first.

Boots Glycerin And Rosewater toner and moisturiser (£2.32): I bought this in Boots a while back as I'd heard rosewater is amazing for your skin and I adored the look of the bottle. I bought this as a toner but the only problem was the glycerin. I backed out of using this on my face as I have oily skin and I was worried it would make it worse so I persuaded my boyfriend to try it. My boyfriend suffers with dry skin so this worked absolutely wonders to sooth his face. I was amazed at how hydrating this was so I scanned over the bottle and it stated that you can also use this on you hands. I gave it a whirl and I loved it. It was great that we could both use it and see the benefits. The great thing about this is that you only need one drop of the liquid and it is enough to massage all over you hands. This is so soothing and I can really feel it locking moisture into my skin. If you like products that are multi purpose this is great as you can use it for your face and hands plus it's super cheap.

Soap & Glory Hand Food (£5.50): Again I fell for the lovely packaging and the quirky name. If you like hand creams that also have a lovely scent then this may be more up your street. If you've tried any of Soap & Glory's other lotions then you'll recognise the smell which may I add is gorgeous. The packaging states that it contains marshmallow so maybe that's why I'm so addicted to it! This is such a creamy product and it absorbs really fast which is perfect for a girl on the go. It's such a lovely gift idea with the cute packaging plus it's a nice size to stick in your handbag when you're out and about. This makes it perfect for moisturising emergencies!

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream: First of all this hand cream contains SPF 15 which is something that I always forget about! I always buy face products containing SPF to prevent damage and ageing skin but I've never really thought about protecting my hands. If you prefer a lighter cream this may be the one for you. I recently bought a body butter and I was told I could have a hand cream for free so I picked this one as I love the smell of roses. I never understand The Body Shop's amazing deals and reductions but I'm not complaining. If you pop down now you may still be able to catch the offer. This cream smells gorgeous and states that it is for all skin types. I did a little research into this and it can also be used to protect your hands against the appearance of brown spots. How amazing is that? This has the same pricing as the Hemp cream, £5 for 30ml and £11 for 100ml. I can't stop applying this cream it just smells so lovely! This is another one that you can just slip in your handbag, I highly recommend.

What's your favourite hand cream?

  2. I love these picks! I really like that toner and moisturizer, although I would probably use it on my hands too because of my oily skin, the price is so good too!
