November Favourites: What I'm Loving This Month

November Favourites

Lee Stafford Retro Setting Lotion

Lee Stafford My Big Fat Retro Setting Lotion (£8.99)
A few years ago I became obsessed with Lee Stafford products. I bought Lee Stafford anything and everything and then I moved on like I often do to other products when they've ran out. When I saw that he had a range for big hair I just couldn't resist. I already have a few products in the range but recently I've been loving Lee Stafford's My Big Fat Retro Setting Lotion. The bottle states that is for "that BIG, bouncy Bardot blow out." I'm a huge fan of Brigitte Bardot and I'm an even bigger fan of her hair. All you have to do is spray the lotion into your roots and comb through. I use a round brush whilst drying to create volume and the setting lotion gives my hair that extra boost. It's the closest I'll get to having Bardot hair without back combing - and that definitely isn't an option with my vulnerable bleached hair!

Barry M hi shine mustard nail polish

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint (£3.99)
I know I recently reviewed this but I loved it so much that it just had to go in my November favourites. It's just such a beautiful colour and it's perfect for Autumn and Winter. This is my new favourite nail polish, I can't get enough of it. If you'd like to read my review of this click here.

Rimmel Lipstick lock

Rimmel Lipstick Lock (£4.99)
I bought this a while back but I recently dug it out of my drawer. As you can see by the colour of it, I wear a lot of red lipstick! There's nothing worse than going for a meal and having your lipstick go patchy or disappear completely so I bought this to lock in my lipstick and it certainly does that. It does feel slightly tingly when applied and it smells a bit like nail varnish remover. Once you've gotten over that it is fine. It's such a time saver having this on, it means that I don't have to worry about reapplying later in the day! It also gives my lipstick a nice finish which is a bonus.

Body Shop white musk perfume

White Musk Libertine Solid Perfume (£5.00)
How cute is this tin? I chose this as a free gift from The Body Shop as I remember in the 90's everyone had a bottle of White Musk. When I saw that The Body Shop had done a twist on the original scent I had to try it. This is White Musk Libertine and it is a solid perfume. It's a sweet smelling perfume and the Body Shop describes it as having the smell of "Turkish delight, baby orchid and Chantilly cream." All you have to do is rub the perfume onto your pulse points and you're good for the day. I find White Musk a reliable smell that lingers for a long time. The perfume has a sheen to it like a sublte highlighter although I wouldn't recommend putting it on your face. It would be good for collar bones though! This tin is so handy for when you are out and about and need to spruce yourself up as you can just stick it in your bag. Even if you don't have a bag it will fit in your pocket. Plus how can you resist the cuteness of the pink ombre heart? So sweet.

Maybelline Colour Drama Nude

Maybelline Color Drama (£4.99)
I first saw this lip pencil on Amy Rose's blog. She looked so fabulous wearing the shade that I had to get it. If you'd like to see her review of this click here. I'd never bought any Maybelline lip products before so I was happy that the colour choice had been kept quite simple. I picked up the shade Nude Perfection and that is exactly how I would describe it. It's a subtle but strong shade and it has such a creamy formula that I actually find it moisturising. As it is a pencil, it tends to stay on for a considerably longer time than my MAC lipsticks. I'm super impressed, I hope you are too!

Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to know how you got on!

    1. When I bought it, it was hidden at the bottom of the shelves. I wouldn't have spotted it if I hadn't been looking for it!
